Alexander Nisbet (1623-69) was a Covenanting minister who graduated from Edinburgh University in 1643. He was ordained to the Second Charge of Irvine, Ayrshire around 1646. He moved to the First Charge in 1650 and was ejected in 1662. Little is known about his life. He wrote A Brief Exposition of the First and Second Epistles General of Peter in 1658, and Exposition with Practical Observations upon the Book of Ecclesiastes in 1664.
